My fiance and I are registering for dinnerware and I right away knew I wanted Corell’s chip/break resistant products, which are apparently glass… The guy helping us register at Bed Bath and Beyond is telling us to consider bone china. Im just wondering which is best. Thanks!

New revelations about censorship, police harrassing journalists and spying on guests in hotles is showing the world what a horrible disfunctional dictatorship China is. Do you think the world should stand up for freedom, call China’s bluff and say, sorry, no Olympics for human rights abusers?

A-dawg asked:
I’ve been thinking about travelling to China after I graduate this year, and teaching english there for a few years. This would give me the opportunity to travel and learn a lot more about China, its culture and its language. However, I’m trying to find a job that I can start directly after I graduate from high school, and I’m having trouble. Can anyone help me?

Is it just to spite us, or is it because everything made in China is made by underfed children?
EvilSouffle, I do. It has more to do with the fact that the parts just don’t fit into place.

The Republicans say they don’t like taxes. Yet they give oil companies tax breaks. The Republicans caused enormous debt in Iraq for nothing. The Republicans borrow money from countries like China. China has a middle class why don’t we?

dreamweaver asked: With the recent scandal over the baby milk formula, I have absolutely no confidence over ANYTHING that is Made in China anymore! This is not the first, second or third time China has been involved in tainted or poisoned products and I am very sure that there will be more new cases too. Months ago was lead in our children’s toys and now, this? Remember the pet food?
I am truly disgusted with the low quality control and the Chinese Government over such scandals. It’s high time the Chinese (those responsible) have some conscience and stop killing innocent people.

I’m in Shanghai right now and heard that China opened up their markets to foreign banks to come in. I’m interested in knowing more about the implications of this.
