The fully worded Q: Has China (the PRC) turned the corner espousing more freedom & democracy given how the gov’t has allowed others to help the Sichuan quake victims? not to mention the upcoming hosting of the Olympics?

  1. It’s a start and well as they should. If they want to keep their “unfair” trading with the US they have got to un-commie up. The US will help anyone in need and other countries should as well.

  3. Don’t be confused about Democracy and common sense. You are talking about 30 years ago and this is China now. It’s a lot better but still they don’t have a system but a economic/capitalistic system.

  5. Sichuan is ok now. and will be better and better. mybe China is not as freedom& democracy as US.but it’s changing always and taking good care of Chinese. Try her best. and about TIBET, I have to say I’m really confused about the foreign reports.They don’t kown the whole things. and Really know it clearly? understand the history? do u know the terrorist killed and hurted how many people?
