A-dawg asked:

I’ve been thinking about travelling to China after I graduate this year, and teaching english there for a few years. This would give me the opportunity to travel and learn a lot more about China, its culture and its language. However, I’m trying to find a job that I can start directly after I graduate from high school, and I’m having trouble. Can anyone help me?

  2. You need a teaching degree first and major in English.
Colleges can place you from there.

  3. TESOL or TEFL training can get you overseas jobs. Check the requirements to enroll.

  4. You can email me privately and I can tell you much about this situation. First, the Chinese are our enemy. They have plans to over throw us in a nuclear attack. But their first plan is to ruin us by destroying our economy.

Secondly, you are their enemy and they will have SPIES watching you at ALL times. My husband traveled the world in business. He spent time in china and they had spies watching him at all times. He was chased thru parks and everything else when he noticed they were spying on him. You will be spied on at all times.

Further, you do NOT want to do them ANY favors. You will be doing a dis service to your own country by going over to the enemy to do this. Want to teach english? teach it HERE or in a country that is our ALLIES not the ENEMY.

China totally just dis’d us by way of adoptions.. you recently may have heard of how they made a new rule for Americans ONLY that if we are over weight we can’t adopt one of the babies they would rather just murder!!! it was a SLAM to Americans. They totally did that to embarrass and mock us.

Stay away my friend- trust me.

  5. Get your ESL (english as a second language) certificate. If you want to go to school 5 days a week, you can complete that training in about 6 weeks. Should cost you about $1k to $2k for the training if you do it with a private school like I did.

You do not need a college diploma, but not as many doors will open for you. The ESL certificate will, however, be enough to find ample jobs in China.

    Go to:

He’s got a lot of links that will help you. China is hungry for English teachers.

About the guy who hates Chinamen, I got an email from him today that said over and over again, “I hate you” The guy is certifiably nuts. He has also sent me threatening email.

Signed, an ex pat from the USA living and teaching in the heart of China.

    Peace
