I'm very sad of the events that have happened in China and Myanmar...i have personal relations in Myanmar with my family, but contact is scarce b/c of the horrible military gov't
the citizen have to fend for themselves, w/ no help from the soldiers/policemen

if you could somehow come in contact with other relief funds for china, that would probably work, but for myanmar maybe you can start to have a fundraiser?

I am a Myanmar citizen. I think it might be hard for you to directly help people in Myanmar. What I would suggest you is try to contact local NGOs in Myanmar or, redcross, or Unicef. They do accept different kind of aid and distribute to people in Myanmar. It is a lot better way. Also make sure you do not contact Myanmar Government to distribute any kind of your aid. They will just take away or sell them back to those who are suffering. If needed, please try to contact

"Myanmar's prime minister, Lt. Gen. Thein Sein, told visiting Thai Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej on Wednesday that the government was in control of the situation and didn't need foreign experts."

History is showing they really want is to receive aid and distribute it themselves after they take what they want for themselves and their troops. Then what little is left is sent out for relief relabeled to show that it is from their government.
